Fruit merchants protest brutal actions of security agents in Bandar Abbas, Iran
On Wednesday, May 24, 2018, a group of merchants carrying fruit in Bandar Abbas, Iran strongly objected to the brutal actions taken by the security officials of the municipality who threw their fruit and goods down the street.
The merchants objected to the agents who were present at the scene, saying that they paid a lot of money for each kilo of fruit to be able to sell it. The police forces had ruined the merchants’ fruits and cargo and left them deprived of their only means of income.
The security agents attempted to disperse them regardless of the merchants’ protests and the situation of the fruit and goods that were spread out into the streets.
