Workers of the Tehran Bus Company, a member of the 2nd and 3rd Sepidar project and a housing cooperative company of the Tehran Bus Company, staged their fifteenth day of protest on Thursday, February 22, 2018. The workers protested in front of the municipality of Tehran against the non-assignment of housing to them after more than 5 years from the specified time.

This is the fifteenth day of the gathering of the Tehran Bus Company workers. They said that only 45 percent of the Sepidar projects 2 and 3 have been developeed after 5 years.

The Sepidar 2 and 3 residential projects were scheduled for delivery in the year 2012.

In 2008, the managing director of the Tehran Bus Company was obliged to house all the official employees of the unit within five years. From this day, the land plots in front of the central building of the Bus Company were allocated for the construction of 450 residential housing units. But then the project stopped and the land was sold for 75 billion tomans. This amount was delivered to the housing association of the company to provide housing for 4,752 non-resident employees, 10 times the original plan. In the following, each of the employees of the company who wanted to be hired would receive up to 30 million tomans.

The housing projects include Soheil, Shaghayegh, Sepidar 1, Sepidar 2 and Sepidar 3 projects. Therefore, 265 people registered in the Sepidar project 2 and 3 for housing. The Sepidar 2 and 3 project was launched from 2010 and it was supposed to complete the 4 blocks of the project within 36 months and delivered to its owners. But after five years from the time it was announced, the project has not been completed yet, and no unit has been delivered to the Tehran Bus Company’s workers.
