Protest gathering of private bus drivers from Tehran Bus Company in front of Iran’s Interior Ministry
The drivers of the private sector of the Tehran Bus Company protested in front of the Interior Ministry in Tehran on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
Drivers objected to the transfer of private ownership buses to drivers who paid their installments in previous years. One protesting driver said he and his colleagues have been paying for their buses for 10 months, but now there’s no transfer of ownership.”
Protesters also objected to the prolongation of the deposit of electronic tickets to drivers, the high costs of private sector buses, the high level of driving fines, and insurance problems for private sector drivers.
